Freedom of Information

The Berkshire Record Office is managed on behalf of the six district councils by Reading Borough Council.  As such, for Freedom of Information purposes we are a part of Reading, although as an information service we also respond to all enquiries directly.

The link below opens Reading Borough Council's suite of web pages about Freedom of Information, and also explains how you can make a request for information to the Council itself.  If you wish to ask for information in the Borough's archive, stored here, please simply contact us.
