Opening Hours

Normal Opening Hours

The Berkshire Record Office is open four days a week:

Tuesday: 9.00am-5.00pm

Wednesday: 9.00am-5.00pm

Thursday: 9.00am-9.00pm

Friday: 9.00am-4.30pm

It is advisable to book before you visit. Please phone on 0118 937 5132 or email via the online Contact Us form to make a booking.

We are closed on Mondays, weekends and Bank Holidays.

Easter

We are not normally open in the evening on the Thursday before Good Friday and we also close on the bank holidays. Full details will be made available nearer the time.

Stocktaking

We close for our two-week annual stocktaking at the end of November/beginning of December. Full details will be made available nearer the time.


Christmas and New Year

We are not normally open in the evening on the Thursdays during the Christmas and New Year period, and we also close on the bank holidays. Full details will be made available nearer the time.
