Berkshire Record Office aims to acquire documentary material,
in whatever medium, relating to Berkshire and its people, past and
present. It will store, document and conserve the collections for future
generations.

The Service achieves these aims through the provision of
personal and remote public access; acquisition and cataloguing of
archives; conservation repair and microfilming; and outreach
(talks, displays, publications).
