Professional photography

We can also supply prints and slides by a professional photographer. This is carried out approximately monthly and some delay in processing orders may therefore occur.

Prices vary between about £12 and £50 depending on your requirements, e.g. size of print.

You will need to know our document reference before ordering photographs. We aim to complete photographic orders within 30 working days.

Self service photography

Documents may be photographed by visitors during opening hours when staff are able to supervise. Please speak to a member of staff first. Please use flash-free equipment or disable the flash (staff can assist). We do not allow the use of tripods. The charge is £2 per image.

When more than 5 images are required a separate booking will be necessary on a Monday. An additional fee of £19 per hour includes staff time spent on supervision.

Most documents can be photographed without risk of damage but staff will advise you if this is not the case. However, staff cannot give advice on technical aspects of photography and image quality.
