We suggest that children under the age of 11 are accompanied by an adult, as many historical sources require some interpretation. Please bear in mind that the searchroom has a quiet atmosphere which is not suitable for very young children.

We also suggest that you contact us in advance to ensure that both the sources you need and the facilities you require are available when you need them.

To make the most of your visit to the Berkshire Record Office, we have put together some hints, tips and a checklist. Please use the links on the left to find out more.

We look forward to welcoming you and hope that you enjoy your time with us.
