Make a donation to our Documents Purchase Fund
We are always pleased to accept archives which illustrate past or present life in Berkshire. If you would like to donate documents to us, please see our ‘Giving us your records’ page.
Sometimes we have to purchase documents that could otherwise disappear from Berkshire’s history and to enable us to do this, we have something called the Documents Purchase Fund.
You can make a donation to the fund which will help us to preserve Berkshire's history and there are some examples of our past purchases at the bottom of this page.
If you would like to make a donation, please click here.
Then all you need to do on the payment page is:
- Select ‘Donations’ from the drop-down list.
- Enter the word ‘Donation’ in the reference field.
- And give whatever you can afford to.
Thank you very much!
In the past the fund has enabled us to purchase items such as those shown below:
Invoices showing the expenditure of the Bradley family of Reading, 1929-1935 (collection reference D/EZ186).
A deposited plan showing the boundaries of the Berkshire part of the parish of Whitchurch, including detached portions surrounded by Purley and Sulham, 1874 (collection reference D/EX183/1).
